The expression of IL-1β in cartilage tissue was significantly increased in the OA-2W and OA-3W groups, and there was an increasing trend in OA-1W with no significant difference ( Figure 3 E), which indicates that cartilage inflammation lags behind the synovium relatively and cartilage inflammation begins to develop rapidly in the middle of the disease stages.
