After accounting for patient-, procedure-, surgeon-, and hospital-level factors, we found that patients treated by surgeons with ratings of either 4 to 4.49 or ≥4.5 out of 5 were associated with lower rates of 30-day complications compared with those treated by surgeons with ratings <4, although findings from the Rating Platform B failed to reach significance (Table 3 ).
