Case studies on pathological human subjects performed with a dual-channel OCT device found a decreasing trend in arterial sO 2 in ischemic pathologies, albeit over a limited sample pool.[ 61 ] In addition, a pilot study on glaucoma subjects found that macular arteriole sO 2 was significantly different between normal and perimetric glaucoma patients [ Figure 3j ].
