Airflow parameters determined by body plethysmography after endo-extralaryngeal laterofixation showed improvement after one month of intervention, with a significant improvement in FEV1 (preoperative = 44.091, one month postoperative = 77.833, p = 0.0252), while the rest of FVC% (preoperative = 80.018, one month postoperative = 85,989, p = 0.0835), PEF% (preoperatively = 34.222, one month postoperatively = 46.716, p = 0.0605), and PIF (preoperatively = 0.6683, postoperatively = 1.1967, p = 0.0626) were at the limit of significance.
