Intriguingly, profiles 5, 6, and 7 predominantly exhibited an increasing trend in gene expression from S1 to S2, significantly enriching pathways such as the two-component system, porphyrin metabolism, mismatch repair, DNA replication, and nucleotide excision repair (Fig. 3 A, C and G).
