In the soil, no significant spatial autocorrelation was detected for the abundant community; however, in the rare taxa, the spatial terms showed marginally significant effects on the community structure, indicating that the spatial structure exerted a stronger influence on the variation in the rare community than in the abundant taxa at the study scale.
