Multi-SNP haplotype 6 shows the largest effect in our study; individuals with this haplotype have over eight times the risk of depression relative to other haplotypes (OR = 8.45, 95% CI: 1.00 to 72.9003, p = 0.0502), although this result is marginally significant with a low sample size of six individuals.
