According to a recent systematic review and meta-analysis, the 1.8 sex ratio of childhood-onset CH [ 467 ] is lower than that (4.3) of adult-onset CH [ 5 ], although a decreasing trend of the male predominance has been reported over the last ten years [ 37 , 276 ].
