There was a marginally nonsignificant interaction between age and condition, χ 2 (1) = 3.80, p = 0.051: Age had no significant effect in the solo condition, χ 2 (1) = 0.09, p = 0.761, but a marginal negative effect in the collaboration condition, χ 2 (1) = 3.40, p = 0.065, indicating that the condition effect in our original analysis was more strongly driven by younger children.
