For total and soil‐derived C, the reduction of C under fungal treatments showed dependency on CO 2 (significant CO 2 × fungus interaction, marginally significant for soil‐derived C), where under eCO 2 total soil C and soil‐derived C were lower with P. albus than with P. microcarpus .
