Age-related analysis revealed an increasing trend in infection rates, with 4.7 % (12/254, 95 % CI 2.1–7.3) in 0–0.5 years old Tibetan sheep and 8.8 % (5/57, 95 % CI 1.4–16.1) in 1.5–2 years old Tibetan sheep, though no significant differences were detected.
