Participants generally made more left-sided than right-sided head rotations, b = −3.20, SE = 0.66, t = −4.85, p < .001 (movement back to the center was not counted), with a decreasing trend across experimental levels: left rotations decreased from level 1 ( M = 6.31, SD = 8.22) to level 5 ( M = 1.85, SD = 3.66), and similarly, right rotations decreased from level 1 ( M = 1.45, SD = 2.97) to level 5 ( M = 0.46, SD = 0.95).
