The meta-regression analysis focusing on age as a potential moderator revealed a coefficient of −0.03 (95% CI: −0.09 to 0.02), which did not achieve significance, indicating that age did not moderate the relationship between inositol supplementation and BMI changes (Table 5 , Supplementary File 6, and Supplementary Fig. 34).
