Social environment of videogames In our study sample, we found that adolescents who played alone reported greater loneliness, with this difference being statistically significant in the “Family deficits and parental rejection” area (Z = 1.97, p = 0.048) and “Personal inadequacy” area (Z = 2.07, p = 0.038), and highly significant in the “Peer rejection” area (Z = 2.64, p = 0.008) and “ Lack of social skills and significant separation” area (Z = 2.74, p = 0.006).
