Despite the differences in estimates of absolute abundance for certain lipids, we identified reproducible and highly significant differences in relative abundance of lipids between RRMS cases and controls. 5 Conclusions This study has identified 25 Cer, SM, LPC, LPE, AcCa and DG species that were reproducibly increased in RRMS compared to HC.
