1 , the estimation of direct effects were the following: (a) BMI had a significant direct effect on BD, BE, and each aspect of ED psychopathology, respectively ( βs ranged 0.124–0.493, p s < 0.05); (b) BD had a significant direct effect on ED psychopathology ( βs ranged 0.131–0.240, p s < 0.05) except R; (c) state anxiety had a significant direct effect on BE ( β = 0.279, p < 0.001) and ED psychopathology including R ( β = 0.123, p < 0.05) and SC ( β = 0.134, p < 0.01), while the direct effect of state anxiety on EC ( β = 0.114, p = 0.051) and WC ( β = 0.101, p = 0.053) was marginally significant; (d) BE had a significant direct effect on each aspect of ED psychopathology ( βs ranged 0.204–0.411, p s < 0.001).
