Unsurprisingly, in the overall cohort of 255 patients, no statistically significant differences were observed in disease-free survival (DFS) (HR 0.71, 95% CI 0.48–1.05, p = 0.084) or overall survival (OS) (HR 0.69, 95% CI 0.48–1.05, p = 0.096), although a favorable trend was noted in the surgical arm, suggesting the possibility of a type II error.
