The range of syngas composition at 1000 °C for both S/B ratios aligns with the literature on biomass steam gasification (30–50 vol % H 2 , 25–40 vol % CO, 8–20 vol % CO 2 , 6–15 vol % CH 4 ). Despite the large changes experienced by H 2 and CO 2 at higher temperatures with increasing S/B ratios, the changes in CO and CH 4 composition with temperature among the two S/B ratios were not as significant.
