The infiltration of mast cells at different concentrations in the TAE treatment groups showed a decreasing trend, which was markedly lower than that in the UVA/UVB group, suggesting that TAE can help decelerate the excessive proliferation of mast cells resulting from inflammatory processes, and the decrease in mast cell count was most significant in the TAE-M group ( Fig. 4B , 4D , and 4E ).
