Amongst the variables included in our model, the presence of extrapulmonary metastases significantly worsened progression risk (HR 2.67, 95% CI 1.54–4.64, p = 0.001), while its influence on mortality (HR 1.98, 95% CI 0.99–3.98, p = 0.054) was close to significance.
