Results Behavioral tests The values of the discrimination ratio (DR) and recognition index (RI) in the novel object recognition test, as well as the % alternation in the T-maze, showed a highly significant decrease in the LPS group (0.207 ± 0.013, 0.46 ± 0.015, and 38.47 ± 0.016, respectively; P < 0.01 for all) compared with the control group (0.743 ± 0.022, 0.852 ± 0.020, and 83.71 ± 0.025, respectively).
