The results confirmed that the three key independent prognostic factors: KPS <80 (HR, 2.706; 95% CI, 1.825–4.012; P<0.001), presence of extracranial metastasis (HR, 2.296; 95% CI, 1.543–3.418; P<0.001) and use of first-/second-generation EGFR-TKIs (HR, 7.155; 95% CI, 4.950–10.344; P<0.001) remained highly significant, with minimal change in their HRs ( Table II ).
