Our findings are thus consistent with the costs of reproduction hypothesis (Myers, 1978 ), as indicated by a shift towards a more male‐biased sex ratio with progressing season and a nonsignificant trend of seminatural habitat connectivity mediated by flower cover that affected the number of pollen collection flights.
