According to the DEFINE-FLAIR [ 5 ] and iFR-SWEDEHEART [ 6 ] trials, iFR-guided management was shown to be non-inferior to FFR-guided management based on the 12-month analysis, albeit a pooled meta-analysis of these two trials regarding death and myocardial infarction showed a statistical trend for higher rate of death and myocardial infarction in the iFR-guided management group [ 44 ].
