It is highly significant that we found that CL exhibited a higher tolerance in P n , Fv/Fm, and PHT after heat stress compared to EOL, regardless of type or level of heat stress applied, suggesting inherent structural or functional differences between leaf types that make cotyledon leaves more resilient to heat stress.
