With respect to ethnicity, Black ethnicity was the only group to produce interpretable results, which were of borderline significance; compared to White patients, Black patients were 864% (OR 9.64, 95% CI 0.74–126, p = 0.08) more likely to present with late-stage than early-stage anal cancer (see Supplementary Materials Table S6 ).
