We observed a low annual hospital-based incidence of approximately 2–3 first EGPA-coded hospitalizations per 1,000,000 inhabitants, with a decreasing trend between 2014 and 2019 and a marked disruption in 2020 coinciding with the COVID-19 pandemic, followed by a return to pre-pandemic levels thereafter.
