For the salt treatment, the SB (p>=0.05) and KS ( p <0.03) varieties showed significant differences in thickness traits, whereas for the cadmium treatment, the KS ( p <0.0001) and AT ( p =0.034 varieties showed highly significant differences as indicated by the ANOVA results (Supplementary table S2 and S3).
