The difference between the use of the ‘Access’ ( P < 0.001, χ 2 = 15.8), ‘Watch’ ( P < 0.001, χ 2 = 39.6), and ‘Not Recommended’ category antibiotics ( P < 0.001) in the SICU and other ICUs was highly significant. ‘Reserve’ and ‘Not Recommended’ antibiotics were not utilized in the NSICU.
