After adjusting for all covariates (Model 4), compared with the lowest quartile, higher quartiles of AIP were not associated with prevalent sarcopenia, while we found a positive trend ( P for trend = 0.0299); the third (OR = 2.174, 95% CI: 1.190, 3.970) and highest quartiles (OR = 2.319, 95% CI: 1.240, 4.337) of TyG were associated with higher prevalence risk of sarcopenia compared with the lowest quartile with a significant positive trend ( P for trend = 0.0072) (Table 3 ).
