Recently, the WHO has detected that the cytodifferentiation of SOT and mutations of Ameloblastin (AMBN) are related to NOTCH receptors and their ligands which indicates that this gene might be significant in the development of this neoplasm.[ 1 , 4 ] SOT usually appears as solitary, slow-growing, asymptomatic, or painful intraosseous lesion with bony expansion mostly affecting the tooth-bearing parts of the jaws, characterized by tooth mobility.
