In response to a subsaturating dose of anti-IgM, which triggers BCR, FO B cells from CARD11 +/C49Y mice proliferated significantly better than wild-type or CARD11 C49Y/C49Y FO B cells in a CellTrace Violet dye dilution assay and displayed a nonsignificant trend toward less apoptotic death with a lower percentage of cells staining positive for annexin V and propidium iodide ( Figures 2A – 2C ).
