Recently, even lower volume bowel preparations have been introduced, such as 1L PEG+Asc with added sodium sulfate. Nevertheless, the impact of bowel preparation on patients’ working lives and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) may be significant, potentially leading to postponement and sometimes to patients refraining from undergoing colonoscopy 2 5 .
