It is worth noting that in the basic model (model 1: HR=1.10, 95%CI 1.04-1.17, P =0.001) and the population school correction model (model 2: HR=1.07, 1.01-1.14, P =0.025), NPAR remained a significant predictor of cancer-related mortality risk in the population-adjusted model (model 2: HR=1.07, 1.01-1.14, P =0.025), but the association weakened to borderline significance in the fully adjusted model (model 3) (HR=1.06, 1.00-1.13, P =0.054) ( Table 2 ).
