Most strikingly, patients with comorbidities exhibited a markedly shorter median survival (1.0 months (95% CI: 0.0–4.9)) versus those without comorbidities (6.0 months (95% CI: 2.4–9.6)), with a p -value approaching marginal significance ( p = 0.116), which are visually illustrated in the Kaplan-Meier survival curves stratified by comorbidity status ( Figure 3(a) ).
