According to a 2023 study by the National Service for the Prevention and Rehabilitation of Drug and Alcohol Use (SENDA) and the National Youth Institute (INJUV), alcohol consumption shows an increasing trend of 18%, being higher among 12- to 19-year-olds in high socioeconomic status adolescents, most of whom attend private schools.
