On the contrary, we observed increased relative species abundance in HC and INF mucosal samples for Streptococcus (zOTU140), Paracoccus (zOTU356), and Lactococcus (zOTU221) species, respectively, although these technically achieved borderline significance only (FDR <0.25) ( Figure S2 (A-C)).
