For brown bears, the rarefaction curves of both the Shannon diversity index and Simpson diversity index showed a tendency to approach saturation at the actual sample size; however, the indices continued to exhibit an increasing trend, suggesting that additional sampling may still contribute to the detection of new dietary taxa.
