In this set of experiments, following IFN-γ priming, canonically activated microglia significantly increased the expression of activation markers CD11b and F4/80, but most importantly, induced a highly significant increase in CD16/32, suggesting the production of FcγR to prepare for the phagocytic process (Fig. 5A, B ).
