In mice, highly significant functional connections were observed across bilateral cortical and subcortical regions, with the strongest connectivity observed between contralateral and ipsilateral subcortical structures, particularly dSTR, HIP, PAL, and THL, as well as cortical areas including M1, M2, and ACC ( P < 0.05).
