Following UC-MSC-Exo treatment, there was a notable enhancement in the structural integrity of bronchioles and alveoli, reduction in inflammatory cell infiltration surrounding airways and lung interstitium, normalization of alveolar wall thickness, decreased alveolar exudate, and an overall trend towards normal lung tissue architecture (Fig. 6 A).
