A comparative study of the stoichiometric characteristics of N, P, C, N:P, C:N, and C: P among fish with different diets showed that in the upstream reservoir area, there were no significant differences in N and C: N content among omnivorous, carnivorous, and filter-feeding fish ( P > 0.05), while significant or highly significant differences were observed in P (F = 6.589, P < 0.01), C (F = 8.069, P < 0.01), N: P (F = 4.101, P < 0.05), and C: P (F = 11.157, P < 0.01) among fish with different diets.
