In addition, overall LPZ data of malnutrition show a stable trend in the care home setting (28) until 2007 but a decreasing trend since 2007 (23) .This trend was probably realized by care quality improvement programs in the Netherlands and the influence of the government introducing performance indicators on for example nutritional screening, which probably also have led to a larger amount of participants in 2007.
