To determine significant differences, 2-way ANOVA with Bonferroni adjustment for α significance level were used as post hoc tests to determine significant differences within the dermonecrosis 2-way interaction effect: dermonecrosis is significantly greater in KO than WT when using USA300 strain ( P = 0.0004) and showed a nonsignificant trend toward a larger size in KO versus WT when using Δ hla strain ( P = 0.0692).
