Nitrogen was the only element where highly significant differences between treatments were detected in both leaves and corms: foliar elemental nitrogen increased with increasing N supply from 3.89 ± 0.19% to 5.26 ± 0.14% (p < 0.001) ( Figure 4 ; Table 3A ).
