Again, survival was reduced for parasitoids from mummies glued to the stem (Figure 4C ) and this was significant in the pairwise comparison with leaf top ( p = 0.031) and marginally significant in the comparison with leaf axil ( p = 0.077; see Table 2 ). 4 Discussion We find that most aphids infected by the parasitoid wasp Aphelinus chaonia get mummified either off the plant or within the plant's leaf axil.
