Highly significant NaCl×water deficit interactions were detected for most variables, including CO2 production, fructose, glucose, sucrose, ATP, ADP, AMP, total adenylate pool (TAP), ATP/ADP and ATP/AMP ratios, and adenylate energy charge (AEC) ( p < 0.001–0.01).
