Oculomotor abnormalities in patients with cerebellar ataxia, neuropathy, vestibular areflexia syndrome (CANVAS) reflect midline cerebellar impairment.

Latency in reflexive saccades showed a positive trend with SARA scores (horizontal: ρ = 0.51, p = 0.050, vertical: p = 0.52, p = 0.050, Fig. 4 A) and were prolonged with lower MoCA scores (horizontal: ρ =− 0.63, p = 0.011, vertical: ρ =− 0.53, p = 0.040, Fig. 4 A).
