Across the spectrum from no wheezing to wheezing and recurrent wheezing, an increasing trend was observed in several characteristics: male sex (50%, 56% and 60%), familiarity of atopy or asthma (0.51%, 0.70% and 0.76%), eczema or atopic dermatitis (9%, 14% and 16%), antibiotic use (44%, 53% and 60%) and bronchiolitis diagnoses (6%, 12% and 17%).
