Colorimetric determination of the films showed a decreasing trend in lightness from the CS film ( L * = 82.55) to the 1-PoPD/CS composite film ( L * = 58.55), indicating that the films become progressively darker with increasing filler concentration or thickness (given in Supporting Information in Table S1 ).
